No!  It’s not JUNK … (once again – just wanted to get it out in the open).

Just a followup to the last “A Bunch More” post.

It’s this sales garb that builds the feeling of anticipation of “Let me check it out” … And of course – leads you to the web-sites that you would probably never go to on a normal day.  So …

How Do You Avoid the Sucker Punch?

Well – the last post gave you a basic Guideline to develop andto put into practice.

1. Stay Focused
2. Find What You Need, and
3. Move On.  

Oh yeah -

Avoiding the Sucker Punch just takes the common sense realization of asking yourself -

1. What am I looking for and
2. Why Would I Want to Click on This Crap Link?

Here’s something that might surprise you:

All those “Great” eBooks that you read about – Well …. each authour sells Only 100-150 eBooks.  You can do the math in your head and figure out for yourself that these ebooks and e-programs are not making the ‘millions’ of dollars that’s being presented to you.  So, Avoiding the Sucker Punch hopefully just became a whole bunch Easier for you.

Do you really think that – 100-150 eBooks are making these authors millions of dollars? Or hundreds of thousands of dollars?

Of course not!

That’s why I present these facts in articles.

Not only to inform you BUT TO REMIND MYSELF Also that these programs are worthless.

My goal is to build a network of like-minded individuals looking for Real Opportunity and people that can avoid the sucker punch this way if a legitimate opportunity comes around – we can all take advantage of it without wasting our time with tons of useless emails in our in-boxes, as well as avoiding wasting our hard-earned money on trying and hoping that one program after another keeps consuming those dollars.

Hump Day … Resolving to Reach a Million … Yup – He Challenged Me … Part 2

So about a week or so ago, I pondered the thought of reaching a million and how long it would take to just count the numbers.

And it all started because I locked my keys in the car (which incidentally cost $60 to have a locksmith unlock the door and get my keys).

But anyway … my son (he’s 17) read my post about Hitting a Million and Challenged me to prove that it can be reached in real life.  He says he doesn’t see how it can be done.

So I asked him – what would prove to you that it can be done, because I’m not counting 8 hours per day for 21 days to prove it!

He answered with – “get a million people to  say they believe it can be done too.  No money or anything – just show me that a million other people believe it can be done too – but they have to be real people Dad”.

Hmmmm … another moment to ponder this million-thing. Only the stakes are higher!  He wants real-world results that can be proven.

I have to admit – Now this is a horse of a different color.  Reality is Bigtime different than a theory in the head.

• I ponder for a while and get to the point where I’m saying to myself – so –
• he just wants to see if 1-million unique people will say they believe it can be done too.
• That’s it!
• That’s all he wants me to do.  So I ask myself -
•  Well, do you believe a million people believe this also? And I answered yes!

That has to mean that there are other people out there that believe it can be done too.

So … I took his challenge up on Saturday and today is Monday New Year’s Eve and I came up with a way to prove a million can be reached with people that are real, not fake (one of his conditions) within a month (21 days to be exact).

Ok, okay –

So – I told him I’m gonna call it – Project 21.

He asked why Project 21 and I let him know that when I was a kid I was told that if you started with a penny and doubled the amount every day you would reach a million in less than a month.  Now I just want to do it with people adding their name – plain, simple, and easy.

(Of course he takes out his calculator and doubles one penny for 21 days and sees that it does pass a million).  Soo many people have heard about this but nobody has ever been challenged to achieve it.

It’s always been a wives tale and I like to get the real facts and now I wanna see if this can be done for my own peace of mind  – so …

Time to see if more people than me believe that this can really work and one million people in less than a month happens.  I believe it can, (and hopefully you do too) so here we go –

All you have to do is Add your name to the list and then just contact 2 people that you know that you think will follow through.  Only 2 since this will act as the “Double-Up” part of the Theory.

An eMail will be sent to confirm that it is actually you.  This is so the numbers are real (like my son kept stressing to me) and then we can see the Absolute Actual Results together and see if this system works.

I believe that hitting a million is something that we can all achieve.  And this would be a big one since so many of us see one million (that I said in the other article) as a threshold number of either success or failure.  I believe this can work and I welcome you to this Real Facts, Real People, Real Journey.

It’s Not Even Hump Day … What’s that gotta do with Reaching a Million ???

Just a thought here.

So – this morning I have one of those days that continued from yesterday (and it’s not even hump day yet)!

So what do I do – I stop & ponder this thought that has nothing to do with anything happening at the moment (especially since I just locked the keys in my car and don’t have a spare and have just missed an appointment this morning, and my brain just starts to go where frustrated brains & their thoughts go …)  Can’t make this shit up even if I tried to …

So – I’m looking up locksmiths and I click on one in my town that’s not located in my town.  And I click another one in a town close to my town that’s not in either one of the towns and actually in a different County.  Now I’m thinking WTF?  This is probably gonna cost a small fortune so I decided to preoccupy myself with some thinking of something that is totally unrelated to the key.

Ah – hahhh.  A million.  There’s something to ponder.  And i pondered and thought – yeah if I had a million i’d just buy another car – problem solved.  And then those stupid thoughts just keep on entering that have nothing to do with anything and that’s where this morning has taken me, so – hope you don’t mind a journey into “Wonderland of a Million”.

And i think — I Mean How many people have actually — I Mean Really Really ACTUALLY Wrapped their Brains around this one?

The number is tossed around like it’s a five dollar bill.  But …

Needless to say .. my brains pondering this thought since one million seems to be a kind of threshold number that automatically makes people think of  either Total Success Money, Happiness, Fulfillment, and what have you, or, something that can’t be achieved.

But …

One Million. My brain won’t let it go. It just keeps on a-pondering away …

Reaching a million seems nearly impossible to most people.

But – Just hear me out on this one. My brain is still pondering here …

Have you ever considered how long it would take counting all the way to a million.

Now remember … we’re not talking about dollars, or pennies, or objects, or anything else.  We’re just talking about counting numbers.

Now … if you counted those numbers out loud - Did you know that it would take about six and a half (6.5) WEEKS to reach?  That’s just about 46 days if you counted every number out loud.

Making a small change and counting the numbers in your head for 8 hours each day (counting 1 to 100 every minute) it would take about twenty (20) days.  That’s  counting 8 hours each day for about 3 solid weeks.  That’s alot of work to reach a million, wouldn’t you agree? (yeah .. I really looked it up …)

And that’s a Big difference, isn’t it?  I mean – cutting six and a half (6.5) weeks down to 3 weeks.  That’s saving a bunch of time, isn’t it?

You can just cut the time in half by simply counting the numbers in your head!  Go figure.

Yes – this is really what happened to my brain going somewhere to deal with the stupid ass problem of locking my keys in my car and not having a spare key …  oyyyy –  Andddd – I really looked this up when I couldn’t find a locksmith near me – because my brain decided to go into overwhelm mode and take a break and think of some useless shit that makes no sense whatsoever.

Needless to say, hitting one million anything takes effort.  I mean – six and a half weeks to count to a million. That’s over a month and a half.

And to take it one step further … if you were to give up sleeping, eating, school, work and other activities and counted non-stop it would take about seven (7) days.  But who (in their right mind) would want to do that, right?

That 3 weeks of counting in your head is looking pretty good at this point to reach that million.  And … hopefully you’re starting to see what I started to see.  That reaching a million can actually be achieved, right?  I mean, you have to devote quite a bit of time to get there and Of course … it will require:

• Effort,
• Focus, and of course
• Time.

But … the important point is –  it can be achieved.

Sooo … now that i’ve realized that it can be done – there’s gotta be someone that can unlock my car, right?  I mean I just figured out what it would take to reach my first million.  That’s gotta be a milestone in anybody’s book.

And hitting my first million made me realize that once I get the car open – i’ve gotta make a copy of the key – because you need the key to get anything started.

So maybe I’ll ponder a bit more about setting resolutions that can actually work rather than saying some drunken statement while toasting to the New Year rolling in.  Seems that achieving those little real world wins (like getting a copy of the key to open the door) are the things that really count in life.

This reminds me of the time I went horseback riding and my horse decided to break from the pack and run at a full gallop straight into an oak tree.  Who woulda thunk I’d get a crazy horse.  And it’s not even hump-day yet.
