FACT SHEET 2 – Studying Abroad

EducationUSA Internships Abroad

In the last few years, U.S.students have increasingly sought out internship opportunities abroad. To support U.S.study abroad efforts, the U.S. Department of State would like to promote opportunities for students to spend time at overseas EducationUSA centers to meet and share experiences with prospective foreign students. EducationUSA Internships allow students enrolled in accredited U.S.institutions to share details of American life, academic programs, and fields of study either in person or through the Virtual Student Foreign Service Program. For other internship opportunities related to EducationUSA’s mission, please visit the U.S. Department of State’s Student Programs site. Please see EducationUSA Internships in the following six world regions for application procedures and a list of current opportunities.
