That’s a big ratio of scams to legitimate work-at-home jobs out in the market according to Staffcentrix President, Christine Durst. This company screens thousands of opportunities out in the market and for every 55 opportunities out there, only 1 of them meets their legitimacy standards.

Don’t fall for all the tweets made stating you can make lots of money from the comfort of home using Twitter. The Better Business Bureau warns that the big bucks promised by these companies will only wind up costing you monthly fee’s to ‘work’ for these companies.

Fake advertisements for employment opportunities for a Data Entry Clerk at Better Business Bureau’s in regions across North America are being posted by these con-artists. Don’t get taken by a Craigslist offer offering a job with the Better Business Bureau. - Don’t Get Taken by a Modeling Scam As you know, I come across acting & modeling opportunities and I will always advise you to get an entertainment manager for yourself. Do not sign up with any companies blindly. Do your homework & find out what they’re about. Call or visit a reputable modeling agency or get a good entertainment manager.
- Enigma for Consumers: What Mystery Shopping Jobs?
Get a load of this … The company that told consumers they could be hired as mystery shoppers and earn a substantial income, are facing Federal Trade Commission charges that their claims about job availability and income potential were deceptive. Not only is this company being charged by the FTC, the telemarketing firm working for them is being charged also.

The best approach to take with online companies is to check out them out first. Online opportunities should present themselves as if you were going for a regular job. You don’t pay the job to be hired, they pay you to do work for them. If they fail to meet this simple criteria, stay away.
