I personally suffer from Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea and use a VPAP machine (variable air pressure rather than consistent air pressure).
The full face mask with the adjustable and movable hose works like a charm.
This condition is no joke. Being tired all the time, gaining weight, being on edge, headaches, high blood pressure – they all attacked me and the machine has made a difference in the sleep and headaches. Now I just have to work on the weight & blood pressure.
Phil – these are in the UK so I hope they’re useful not only to you but to everyone that may suffer from or know someone that suffers from sleep apnea. When they tested me in the hospital my apnea was 59 times per hour (meaning I stop breathing 59 times an hour for more than 10 seconds at a time). The doctor told me I basically wasn’t sleeping at night due to this.
These are just some clinical trials I came across – but all in all – getting tested at a sleep center that specializes in it is the single most important thing to do.
I put it off for years and the difference it’s made in my life is – actually unbelievable.
Good Luck – and
