This film is based on the novel “Labor Day” by author Joyce Maynard.
Synopsis: “Labor Day” is based in the 1980′s and told through a 30 year old man named Henry who recounts a life changing, coming of age experience that occurred when he was 13 years old. The experience starts when Henry and his mother (Kate Winslet) agree to give an injured man, named Frank (Josh Brolin), a ride as the town authorities search frantically for a dangerous escaped convict.
